Hi everyone and welcome to Hecho Lovely.  I'm Monica, a first generation Mexican American artist, and the creator of Hecho Lovely. What began as a quiet, personal creative outlet has grown into a small, independent earring company rooted in purpose and love for handmade art. With a background in painting and a lifelong passion for working with my hands, I create each piece in my studio using materials like brass and wood—drawn to their warmth, texture, and natural beauty. No two pieces are exactly alike, and that’s part of what makes them special. I embrace the little imperfections and character that come with handmade work; to me, they tell a more honest and beautiful story. Hecho Lovely is my humble way of sharing the gift of creativity that Christ has so graciously placed in my life. Every design is made with care, intention, and deep gratitude—with the hope that it brings a small touch of beauty and meaning to your day.  This work is never about mass production—it’s about slow, thoughtful craftsmanship. It’s about celebrating uniqueness, whether on a canvas or on a tiny piece of wearable art. My earrings don’t create beauty—they simply reflect what’s already within you. I hope they help you feel a little more confident, a little more seen, and a little more you.
